Phylum: Basidiomycota
Class: Agaricomycetes
Order: Agaricales

The wrinkled peach was first documented by a French naturalist named Jean Baptiste Francois Bulliard. The caps of these mushrooms are pink when young and turn peach with age. The skin is thick and gelatinous in a interconnected ridge pattern. The stems of these can be 3-7 cm in height and 1-1.5cm in diameter. The spores are coated in warts and leave a pale pint print. They can be found on well rotted hardwoods from July to November.
